There is an allegation on Amritpal Singh that he is a Khalistani supporter and is demanding to make Punjab a separate country. According to the police, he specializes in disturbing peace and harmony in the state. It may be mentioned that, in order to get his colleague Toofan released from the arrest of the police, there was a lot of ruckus outside the Ajnala police station in Amritsar. In which there was a fierce clash between the Punjab Police and its supporters. In which many policemen were badly injured. After which Amritpal Singh’s accomplice Toofan was forced to leave the police. Keeping this in mind, the police is now trying its best to arrest Amritpal Singh.
Let us tell you that since Saturday, the police has been wandering here and there to catch Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh, yet he has not yet come into the hands of the administration. On Saturday i.e. March 18, the police car kept running behind the car of Amritpal Singh, yet he escaped from the clutches of the police. On this whole issue, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Police said that the police have declared Amritpal Singh a fugitive and we will arrest him as soon as possible. Police action against his supporters is going on.
Rifle and cartridges recovered from Pal’s car
The Punjab Police seized a vehicle from Salina village in Jalandhar district. He said it was the same vehicle used by Amritpal to escape. In which the police got a 315 bore rifle, 57 cartridges, a sword and a wireless set. Disclosing the owner of the vehicle, he says that the car belongs to Manpreet Singh of Anokharwal village, who has been arrested by the police.
Administration’s request to the media
The spokesperson of Punjab Police has requested all the platforms like social media users, electronic media, print media not to spread fake news. Due to which there can be a terrible situation in Punjab. He urged all these institutions to discharge their responsibilities properly. The spokesman further said that if any kind of disturbance spreads among the people of Punjab due to fake news, then the police can take strict action against those spreading false news.
