Sports Minister Meet Hare congratulated Kho-Kho player Gurveer Kaur for becoming the Asian Champion

Punjab Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hair has congratulated Punjab’s Kho-Kho player Gurveer Kaur for becoming the Asian Champion.
The Indian women’s team won the gold medal in the 4th Asian Kho-Kho Championship held at Guwahati (Assam). In the final, India beat Nepal by an innings and 33 runs. Before this, India defeated Bangladesh in the semi-finals.
Meet Hare has congratulated Gurveer Kaur, her parents and coach for representing Punjab in the Indian women’s Kho-Kho team. He said that with this achievement he has brought laurels to the entire state. Gurveer Kaur is a resident of Buttar Shareeh village in Sri Muktsar Sahib district. The Sports Minister has also wished this promising player all the best for the future.
The Sports Minister further said that special directions have been given by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to raise the flag of Punjab again in the field of sports. Punjab’s sports budget has been increased by 55 percent. A new sports policy is being made in Punjab.
