Satish Kaushik death: Delhi Police receives actor’s postmortem report; probe

New Delhi, March 11: After receiving Satish Kaushik&;s post-mortem report, Delhi Police returned to the farmhouse where the veteran actor had celebrated Holi before passing away earlier this week.

According to police sources, after receiving the late actor&;s postmortem report, Delhi Police returned to the farmhouse and analysed CCTV footage. According to sources, the postmortem report will be used to direct the investigation into the 66-year-old actor&;s death. The doctors present during the autopsy found nothing suspicious about the actor&;s death, sources added.

&;The reports of blood samples and heart of the deceased actor are still awaited and will be in within a fortnight,&; Delhi Police added.

Earlier in the day, a crime team from Delhi&;s South-West district police visited the farmhouse where the deceased actor was staying, according to Delhi Police sources.

According to sources, the investigation team recovered some medicines from the farmhouse, where an industrialist had organised a party. &;The medicines are being examined,&; Delhi Police further said.

&;Police are going through the guest list to ascertain those who were present at the farmhouse,&; they further said.

Satish Kaushik died on March 8 in Gurugram.

On March 7, the actor-director attended Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar&;s Holi bash in Mumbai. After news of his untimely death broke, photos and videos from the party went viral.
