
CM Mann made Kiratpur Toll Plaza Free

The campaign launched by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to shut down the toll plazas of the state government continues unabated. Today, in this episode, the Chief Minister freed the toll plaza on the Anandpur Sahib-Una road in Kiratpur Sahib. The Chief Minister said that due to the closure of this toll plaza, people will now save Rs 10 lakh 12 thousand per day.
The Chief Minister said that earlier the government has closed 7 toll plazas. Kiratpur Sahib is the eighth toll plaza, which has been made free. He said that it was not closed on the expiry date but was closed earlier. The earlier governments could also have done this work, but their intention was not clear.
The Chief Minister said that after recovering Rs 67 crore from the company, it would be spent on this road. The responsibility of maintenance of roads has been given to PWD. It will not happen that after the closure of the toll plaza, the roads will not be maintained, but better maintained by the company.
Bhagwant Mann warned that those who have eaten the money of Punjab will not survive. Those who helped the company after breaking the agreement and helped in giving extension and created assets by earning big money, action will be taken against them all. He said that the looted money of the people would be deposited again in the government treasury.
Before closing the Kiratpur Sahib toll plaza today, the Chief Minister had made a tweet as well. The Chief Minister had said in a tweet that looting of people’s money will not be tolerated. Today the Shri Anandpur Sahib-Una toll plaza in Kiratpur Sahib will be made free. People will save 10 lakh 12 thousand rupees in a day.
