Punjab School Education Department has opened a portal for general transfers of teachers: Bains

Chandigarh:

The School Education Department has opened the application portal for general transfers of teachers from today. Education Minister Punjab S. Harjot Singh Bains said that teachers desirous of getting transferred can apply online from 28 to 31 March 2023 on the e-Punjab portal of the Education Department.
S. Bains said that these transfers will be as per the teacher transfer policy of 2019 and the revised policy of 2020.
S. Harjot Singh Bains said that the transfers would be considered only online, while the applications received through offline method would not be considered.

Similarly, the station choice for transfer will be taken from the applicant teachers/ computer faculty/ non-teaching staff whose details are found correct.

Education Minister S. Bains also informed that during the years 2019, 2021 and 2022, a chance has also been given to cancel the transfers which are not technically applicable.
